Nate's Vision of Coaching:
Growing Hope Coaching (GHC) was officially founded in 2014, but the vision was formed years ago…
During my adolescent years, I frequently drove by a tree, growing in the Colorado mountains, that always caught my attention. Long ago, this tree was split in half, most likely as the result of a lightening strike. Since then, shoots have been growing up out of the scar. After many years, there is a beautiful, vibrant, and growing tree that still bears witness to the trauma of the past.
On one special day, I took a picture of this tree. It was a bright and sunny day and it was difficult for me to see exactly what the picture was going to look like. To my surprise, the picture captured rays of light shining through the clouds onto the tree and field.
This tree has been a beautiful reflection of what God can do in a person’s life. Every person has experienced a “lightening strike” in their lives. Some strikes are more evident on the outside, while other strikes happen internally. No matter what the strike is, God is still the same and offers hope to each individual.
No matter what stage of your journey you are in, I will be here to walk you through it. I want every person in this world to have someone that will walk through life with them. Due to the culture Americans live in, and at times due to the decisions we make, it can be difficult to find one person to walk through life with. More than likely, there are people that walk with us for a time period and then are moved somewhere else.
I am here to help encourage you and teach you how to draw closer to God, others, and yourself in order to live life instead of just survive life. God wants us to live an abundant life and that is through relationships with Him, others, and ourselves.
My strength is in meeting people with love and acceptance right where they are, no matter the severity of the lightning strike...financial, sexual, emotional or relational. As a follower of Jesus Christ with the gift of discipleship, I encourage my clients to grow in their faith and nurture new sprouts of hope and life. When topics arise that I am not qualified to teach, I will be able to refer to a qualified counselor that would be more suitable fit. My goals are that you will receive the support you need and that God will be glorified in all we do!
